My name is Jed De La Cruz, and simply put, I am a geek.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Economics at the University of Toronto in 2008, I decided to pursue a field closer to my interests, by enrolling into Humber College’s Media Communications program, in Toronto, Canada – where I’m currently in my final year of studies.
I’m a fan of all things web; an early adopter of technology, who would rather listen-to or watch a podcast than turn on a TV.
I’m adept in a variety of web languages that include: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ActionScript 3.0. And I am knowledgeable in both Drupal and WordPress Content Management Systems.
I am comfortable working within Adobe Creative Suite 5; in particular, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, InDesign, and Illustrator. I also have experience editing videos in Final Cut Pro.
I am a budding photographer, videographer and podcaster.
I understand the convergence of media occuring online and am eager to have a hand in every aspect; whether it be web design & development; photography, video, or online publishing.
I like to make things for the Internet.
